Congratulations to Genesis Martial Arts student Ryan Gallagher. Today Ryan was awarded the Cimac Superleagues Grand championship in the Men’s Light Continuous Junior Intermediate category over 75kg and the Men’s Semi contact Junior Intermediate category over 75kg.
The series of events has taken place 6 times this year with events in Windsor in March, May, September and November and in Birmingham in July and Dorking in October. Points are awarded for placing first, second or third in each category at each event with the Grand Champion being awarded to the competitor who accumulates the most points.
Today Ryan won the light continuous section and came second in the semi contact section which was enough for his to secure both Grand Championship titles.
Any students wishing to compete in next year’s Cimac Superleague should speak to their instructor for me information.

The final course will take place on the 15th October at Genesis Gym and will be the last chance to attain any tags needed before the Grading Belt test in November.

Genesis Students Committed To The Journey
Hi Everyone,
Due to the success of our previous Inter Club Competition’s Genesis Wycombe Instructors Gary Jones, Trevor John and Joel Hoyte are hosting a competition on the 23rd September at Wycombe Leisure Centre. This competition is open to all Genesis Martial Arts student’s under 18 years old and has categories for all. Doors open at 10:00am with fighting scheduled to start at 11am and finish by 3pm.
This competition will be supported by Genesis Clubs in Beaconsfield and High Wycombe, however as a result there will be no classes in Beaconsfield or High Wycombe on Saturday 23rd September. Sorry for the inconvenience.
All students with full sparring equipment are invited to take part and experience the thrill of the competition. Whether student’s win or lose we guarantee that they will learn. Competition is the best way for student’s to improve their sparring skills and overall understanding or martial arts.
Entry is just £5 and is solely online. The deadline for entry is Sunday 17th September.

Well done to all students who have attended our kids Summer Boot camp so far. You have displayed great attitudes, commitment and positive energy towards your sessions.
All remaining boot camp dates are now available to book online but due to high demand please only book the dates you wish to attend.
Parents
If you are dropping kids off please drop them off outside the Busy Bees Nursery by the big park & boathouse. If you wish to park up and stay the nearest car park is by the church on London Road. You can park there and access the Rye via the Zebra crossing.
Students
- This is a bootcamp and not a standard Genesis class.
- Please wear your Genesis T shirt only, not your complete uniform as some of the activities may result in getting dirty.
- We start at 9am sharp! If you are late you cannot do boot camp
- If you have not registered online you cannot do boot camp
Please avoid messaging us asking if boot camp is cancelled due to weather.
